Demonstration Talk

Written by acclaimed Hong Kong composer Chan Hing-yan and emerging talents Charles Kwong, Phoebus Lee and Daniel Lo, the contemporary production Hong Kong Odyssey approaches literary works from and about Hong Kong by weaving together familiar choral tunes and new music. Join us for a preview performance and be part of the creative process as we fine-tune and complete this production.

About Jockey Club Local Creative Talent Series Hong Kong Odyssey

With the literature of Hong Kong from late 19th century to the present serving as its backbone, Hong Kong Odyssey assembles over a hundred cross-generation local elite composers, singers, choirs and musicians, this remarkable concert captures the unique sound of Hong Kong. Take a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process and explore the milestones in Hong Kong’s history through the eyes of our poets.
